Nokia Lumia 710

SUNNYVALE, CA, United States – The Nokia Lumia 710 is a phone that packs an amazing feature set into a budget-friendly package. Just because the phone (and accompanying data package on T-Mobile) is affordable, don’t think that you sacrifice by choosing a Lumia 710.

The Nokia Lumia 710 features a 3.7-inch ClearBlack Display, 5-megapixel camera that captures HD video and a really fast Windows Phone experience that uses T-Mobile’s 4G network to deliver a fun experience to those who buy it.

Last week, we reported on the Lumia 900’s glowing reviews on Amazon.com and this time, I’m happy to report that those who have bought the Lumia 710 are thrilled as well.

Let’s see what Lumia 710 owners on Amazon.com are saying.

Andrew loves how the Lumia 710 blends with his online life with its built-in applications and utilities.

The place where both Apple and Android have had an upper hand has been in their app stores. I wondered if Microsoft’s Marketplace would have enough of a selection to meet my immediate needs. Thus far, I’ve been very pleased with the depth of the Microsoft Marketplace. Barcode scanner app (RedLaser)? Check. QR code generator? Check. Specialty apps, created for my hobbies? Check! The Marketplace also connects with XBox Live, for access to many games. My wife was excited to find a trial of Angry Birds on her phone.

Mimo in Kansas loves the Lumia 710’s value, along with the Facebook integration and built-in Nokia Drive GPS capability.

Like this device very much, despite its low price it seems well build and feature-wise it is practically identical to its bigger brother, the Lumia 800. The WP is very smooth and snappy, and Facebook integration works better than in any other OS. Also the proprietary Nokia Apps are a big plus against other WP7 devices, especially the free turn-by-turn navigation.

Meanwhile, Akash finds the Lumia 710 to be stable, solid and fast.

Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango) is pretty awesome. Live Tiles are the perfect compromise between Android’s resource-intensive widgets and iOS’s bland, sterile home screen. The OS has yet to crash on me, I’d wager to say it’s the most stable and speedy mobile OS I’ve used so far. You have a little less control over background tasks than Android, but whatever WP7 is doing behind the scenes is working because the OS never hesitates, never stutters.

Lastly, the Travelling Tech Guy loves the screen visibility and feel of the Lumia 710:

The Lumia 710 is a great device. It’s 3.7″ display means it still fits in your pocket. It is sturdily built (as are most Nokias) and feels good in your hand.

The screen is highly visible in direct sunlight, due to its deep black background and the sharp colors.

Nokia Lumia 710 owners – what do you think of the Amazon.com reviews? What points are they missing on?  Please weigh in below in the comments.
