Building on the success of JobLens, Nokia releases a new app to give college students a head start in the internship hunt.
In the United States today, it is estimated that 54% of recent college grads are either out of work, or underemployed. For anyone entering the job market for the first time, those numbers are daunting. To give new job seekers an edge, Nokia is working with Internships.com, the world’s largest internship marketplace, offering Internships Lens, an exclusive app for Lumia Windows Phone users in the U.S.

Using the free Internships Lens app, college students and recent graduates can check out and apply for more than 75,000 internships, entry-level and part-time jobs from more than 40,000 companies that list opportunities with Internships.com directly from their Nokia Lumia phone.

Like Nokia’s JobLens app, Internships Lens connects your social networks to open positions. In this case, using listings with Internships.com, and then shows you individuals in your network that can connect you to the job and hiring manager.
Additionally, you can use the app to create and store a copy of your resume, as well as saving the details about positions that interest you.
